About the Role and Your Responsibilities

The Resource and Development unit consists of three departments and serves as the support function for the Labor Market and Social Services Administration in various areas: operational systems, IT, organizational and professional development, legal matters, monitoring, deviation management, committee work, etc.

The goal is to provide the core operations with the right support and conditions to fulfill their mission towards the citizens of Lund with high quality and service level.

Quality and Service Unit

The Quality and Service Unit, which includes the system team, is responsible for operational systems, IT, and digitalization issues. The unit has 11 employees with different assignments and an operational unit manager. One of our colleagues in the system team will be on leave for all of 2026, and we are now looking for her replacement. You will be one of four development secretaries in the system team. You will closely collaborate with your team members but also share your workday with other colleagues within Resource and Development.

The main task as a development secretary involves the management and development of our operational systems: Lifecare and Journal Digital. Related to this assignment, there are varied tasks within operational statistics, information reporting, digitalization, and process development.

We Are Looking For You

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in social services and the operational systems Lifecare and Journal Digital. A degree in social work and knowledge of documentation, digitalization, and especially system management are advantageous.

To thrive with us, you need to be solution-focused and have good collaborative skills. The job also requires you to be structured and able to handle administrative tasks well. The work is both independent and in close collaboration within the team. There are good opportunities to plan your day yourself and also work some time from home, but you also need to manage parallel tasks and prioritize according to current conditions.

About the Workplace

With us, you will have a varied, independent, and qualified job assisting the managers of the social services and various operations with support in operational development, knowledge development, and quality monitoring.

The Resource and Development unit also provides support in matters such as system management, system development, user support in our operational systems, support and coordination of the administration's IT usage, as well as ordering IT operations, local issues, contracts, mail and archive management, and environmental issues. The Resource and Development unit is also responsible for handling deviations, complaints, and funds.
